2009 was a very busy year for GPCSO.
|March 20, 2009||Toronto Sportsman Show March 20, 21 & 22|
|March 22, 2009||College Royal Dog Show in Guelph - March 22|
|April 10, 2009||All About Pets - April 10, 11 and 12(Easter Week-end) held at the International Centre, Airport Road and Derry Road, Toronto|
|May 16, 2009||Specialty Show and Booster - May 16 and 17,at the Kitchener-Waterloo Dog shows - held at Kitchener|
|May 31, 2009||Spring Walk & Good Neighbour Testing at Carol Graham’s at # 5039 4th Line, R. R. # 2, Acton, Ontario.|
|June 13, 2009||Giant Garage Sale!! The date is June 13 (just a week before summer) located at Sandra Young’s, 983 Wales Avenue in Mississauga.|
Of course the Great Pyrenees Club of Southern Ontario is the beneficiary. So how can you help? There are two ways… 1) Club Members can donate good quality saleable items, which can be dropped off at Sandra’s home or given to her at the Spring Walk. 2) Club Members can participate in the Sale, set up a table with stuff you no longer need and join in the fun. In return, all we ask is that you donate 25% of your proceeds to the Club.
What a deal! You win, the dogs win and the Club wins… and you may even be able to use that corner of your garage again that you had filled with junk (Ahemm...TREASURES) for the past dozen years.
It has come. It has gone. And the garage is empty. Need we say more?
Mohawk Park is a lovely setting, complete with gorgeous mature trees providing lots of shade for our Pets. Following the meeting, there will a POT LUCK LUNCH and then a Dog Walk with our pets.
As this park is well attended by local residents, be prepared to answer lots of questions about our Breed. As always, such a large herd of our magnificent dogs will attract lots of attention.
Our AGM is being held during Responsible Dog Ownership Week sponsored by the Canadian Kennel Club, which focuses on letting the public know about breeds and dog ownership. I am sure that our presence will be a great representative of what it means to own and care for dogs.It was great seeing you at the park!

Is it normal for a GP puppy who has bladder infection and given antibiotics by the vet to not want to leave his crate? Is it normal for him to be so lethargic?

We rescued a great Pyrenees on our own... he's had a lot of medical problems, and we've just got his weight up, but I think he's developing a heat rash.
