Great Pyrenees and Newfoundlands lost one of their greatest supporters on Sunday.

Mike Kennedy of Harbourfront Kennels died after a valiant battle which lasted for more than a year. Both he and Trish, his wife, contributed to the promotion of the two breeds, and even when he was not well Mike proudly showed his dogs to great heights.

A memorial will be held on Saturday, September 26 at the McBeath-Dynes Funeral Home in Ingersoll.

Take off Highway 401 at the Ingersoll exit (Just a couple of exits past the last Woodstock exit) turn right when you come off the exit and go in to Ingersoll. The funeral parlour is on the main street just opposite a Baptist Church.

Visitors will be received by Trish and the family from 2:00 to 4:00 and from 7:00 to 9:00.

We will all miss you Mike.
