Here is your reminder of Club events occurring in the next few days.

Our Annual General Meeting will be held on Sunday, September 20, 2009, at Mohawk Park, Brantford, Ontario starting at 11:00 a.m. We will be in Shelter E, which is right by a parking lot. Mohawk Park is a lovely setting, complete with gorgeous mature trees providing lots of shade for our Pets. Following the meeting, there will a POT LUCK LUNCH and then a Dog Walk with our pets.

As this park is well attended by local residents, be prepared to answer lots of questions about our Breed. As always, such a large herd of our magnificent dogs will attract lots of attention.

Our AGM is being held during Responsible Dog Ownership Week sponsored by the Canadian Kennel Club, which focuses on letting the public know about breeds and dog ownership. I am sure that our presence will be a great representative of what it means to own and care for dogs.

We will see you at the park on Sunday, September 20!!

Here's what else is going on.

Although this is not a GPCSO event, you are invited to the Responsible Dog Owners of Canada and The Canadian Foundation for Animal Assisted Support Services First Annual World Animal Day – Animal Blessing Celebration.

The event will be held on October 3rd, 2009 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Andrew Haydon Park in Ottawa. This event will have something for everyone.
