Hello Darling!

by William Owens
(Ridgeway,SC,United States )

We received notice from a friend that the Greenville, SC Animal Shelter was holding a young Great Pyrenees as a rescue not available for adoption because she had been labeled as aggressive. I asked the shelter people why she had been labeled aggressive? They’re response was that she had tried to snap at the groomer when she was having the matted hair cut away from her tail. The other excuse was she resisted being put in the front seat of a Corvette Stingray. From this they deduced that she didn’t like women. I contacted my local rescue and told them that I would take the dog. When we arrived at the shelter we found a very frightened young Pyrenees named Darling. Hello Darling!

Also forgot to say our George is gone now but we have the DUKE now, also a rescue, that can get aggressive. His way of showing what he went through. I think most rescues will have some type of it, but deserve love and understanding.
