Pyrless

Pyrless of Lake Superior

Pyrless of Lake Superior

I bought Pyrless as a pup from Tuxedo Llama Farm, near Ottawa. This was not an official breeder, but a farm who used and bred their own LSG pyrs.

I am a nurse and social worker, and Pyrless has travelled all over Canada and the U.S. with me, including volunteering as a Pet Therapy dog in New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina.

Pyrless is now 8 years old but in amazing shape. He runs 1-2 k every day, and is very healthy and happy. Currently, we volunteer twice a week at a youth detention centre. Pyrless is a St. John's Ambulance tested and registered pet therapy dog.

Pyrless is my dear friend but he knows that I am in charge. He is kind and patient, and "looks after" our other pets.

Pyrless is peerless, that's why he got his name.

I have also fostered 2 female pyrs, and found them good homes.

That's the life a Pyr should live!
by: Marianne Glofcheski

What a wonderful life Pyrless has lived. that's the way it should be and not being left at home whenever the rest of the family goes off.

Thank you for sharing this with us all and give Pyrless a big hug from all of us at the rescue team.
