My dog is having poop stuck in her fur. I am not sure she can still squat properly to have a BM.

I highly suggest you take your girl to the vet for a good senior check up.

She is a good age and is having mobility issues. She may need some pain management.

Sanitary cut
by: Ed A from NJ

Donna is,right but may I also suggest when you have her bathed you also request a analysis sanitary cut. While you don't cut there hair a sanitary cut is just that the trim a little swatch from there anal hole down and make a little mout so the poop don't get caught in there hair. You can't even see it unDer there tail most of the time. It helps,me keep my dogs neat.

There are options
by: Travel Bear

You could have the area trimmed up a bit.

There are some great people medicines that vets now use for stiffness. Walgreens has super pet program for paying for these meds ($5) to join.
