Allergies?

Hi guys. I have a Great Pyrenees Puppy coming to me and I have never owned the breed before. I have four wonderful cats and am hoping she bonds with the kitties. I do have allergies and a bit to dogs; however,I read in another forum that some people with allergies do not have a strong reaction to the Great Pyrenees despite the amount of shedding they undergo. I was wondering if maybe it had to with their second coat sort of trapping dander etc. and then less of it gets into the air. Can you share any insights about human allergies to the breed and what you have experienced? thank you, Waverley

Allergies. I have terrible allergies. My husband brushes our dog well in spring. I take Claritin. No big deal.
