(Salisbury Md)

My 1 yr old Pyreneese has started refusing wet or dry dog foods. We have tried many brands all nutritional, he has actually lost weight, our vet can’t find any medical reasons as to why he’s started this, he gave us prescription can food he refused that also, we have tried different brands that the Vet suggested with no luck, so I cooked hamburger drained the grease , he ate that with no problem. What can I do to get him eating dog food again?? Very Desperate Please help. Thanks, Diana

Kibble is not very palatable for some dogs. It is sprayed in oil when packaged and once opened, it goes rancid over the days. It's also a very processed food and some dogs have a hard time eating it.

The hamburger is much more pleasing for him since that is a species-appropriate diet for him.
