Baloo the Rescue

by Vicky Z
(Bradford, Ontario)

With profound sadness and broken hearts we had to let Baloo go off to the rainbow bridge today. From the moment we saw his sweet face on the Great Pyrenees Club od Southern Ontario rescue site and read his story, he was in our hearts. We made the adventurous road trip to Montreal to Milena and Francis to bring him home. The kids and I, Juli, Ashley, Lacy, Bailey & Mishka had a 2 day trip filled with laughes and many stories to bring this big boy home with us! Thank you Milena and Marianne for choosing us to be his family after his ordeal. He brought so much love to us, he truly epitomized the saying, “who rescued who?” He was spoiled rotten since his diagnosis December 22, splenic tumour. He had a beautiful Christmas, steak and turkey dinners and lots of treats. Too many treats apparently as he buried some in the snow holding out for the fish skins Milena brought for Christmas 😜! Thank you so much my beautiful boy for all the love you gave us all these years. Go play and run free again with Misha, Harry, Mishka and Bailey. See you again at the rainbow bridge ❤🐾💜🌈💙🐾💚

Sympathy
by: Lynn Fox

You have my deepest sympathy. Thinking of you and your family for loss of a great furbaby. My Great Pyr is three years old and he’s going through some issues at this time and the outcome maybe one I’m not looking forward to. I’ve never owned a Great Pyr before but I must say, they are a beautiful breed. I wish I had discovered them when I was a bit younger as I’m 60+ Yrs old and he will be my last furbaby pup. Again, I’m sorry for your loss.
