Behavioural issues etc

Why does my Pyr pop his mouth together at me? Gets in front of me to cut me off and stops in front of me? Looks like he has a bowl cut, bushy hair all over his head except on his face, like I've put a bowl on his head and just shaved his face. One last thing he tries to bite my goat and does get him on his back at times.

I don't know why he does it. It's hard to say what is going on without being there to see the circumstances. Perhaps he is looking to play? Start working on a connection with your dog through training games.

Here is a fun game IYC, to play with your dog that you can grow.

It sounds like he is a younger dog with the mane.

Keep him on leash around your goat so he doesn't do this. Don't allow him with your goat unsupervised. Keep him penned up separately but still so he sees the goat.

He needs to get used to the goat. Here is a blog on distractions for your dog which in his case, is a goat.
