How Sweet it is!
by: Great Pyrenees Club

A healthy Pyr does not have body odor. In fact, they have a wonderful smell. I have heard it said that nothing smells like a Pyr.

never!

And if you find one that does have B.O., it is most likely caused by a lack of grooming and care from their owner. Even the outdoor dogs, need proper care and should be regularly brought in for a careful inspection for wounds, hair mats etc. A well cared for Pyr has his own wonderful scent, and you will want to bury your nose in that heavy neck ruff and inhale it! Heaven.
