Buddy!

This is Roman's neighbour "Buddy" and have been his buddy for however long Roman has been with us since puppyhood...

And this is the way Roman plays with his buddy all the time.

Just flop and flop and then flop some more making himself as small as possible.

For some reason or another...
This little dog will always go under our fence and climb the deck steps to visit Roman every day...

Especially when his people are gone...

Yup! Roman's buddy!

 Trimmed to 1" and it all grew back!

Well Roman had a birthday (July 2013) cut because I mucked up his coat during the 2 day hike, dip at the falls where the algae was in full bloom. Summer and hot too.

He was also shedding his yearly undercoat plus I unevenly cut his matted parts out.

And to make things worse, I did the conditioner thing which solidify unto his coat cementing his matts into uncombable mess...

Yeah, a mistake I won't make again for sure.

Don't worry though... His coat is all back to his formal glory (mane and tail with 9" long hair). And with fish oil in his diet, he doesn't even need any conditioner to retain the coats' moisture.

Cutting his fur was a comfort and relief for him which I will do again if he ever needs it.
I know all the shaving and bad fur cases...

But Roman's comfort is more important than his coat. Roman is more precious than a "signature" pyr fur... He can look like a poodle and will not lessen my love for him.

= Roman (special soul) is always #1 before his fur or even his breed.
KWIM?
