It is cold n then warm here why is my pyrenees losing his hair now it's December its coming.out in mats

I think you mean in clumps. First, check in with a vet to rule out any medical issues. If nothing, it could just be his system is out of sync with the changing weather and he is molting. Keep him groomed so maybe it won’t come out as much.
