Location: Between Owen Sound and Port Elgin (Tara, ON)
Remi was given up because of health issues with her owner.
Children: Unknown if she is good with them.
She has been a month with her caretaker so she is still settling in. She has a little separation anxiety which is improving as she gets to know her people, but this will disappear as she becomes fully comfortable with her people and surroundings. She loves her people!
As always, proper introductions to new dogs in the home is a must which means off property first. You may have to keep dogs separate until they get used to each other, but she does get along with other big dogs.
She is crate-trained if needed.
She is good in the house and loves spending time outside. She has good recall.
She does have fear of new people, but she will warm up pretty easily. When greeting her, always throw treats away from her until she is comfortable enough to come to you for the treat.
