Crate - prefers small crate

I Have a great Pyrenees and we got her a big crate and I also have two Bostons and she has recently started going into the Boston's cage on her own and going into lay down is there a reason for this. I know it's not good for them to be in there and I shoo her out of there but she constantly goes back in. She is 17 months old

She obviously can't stay in there.

Some dogs are silly and like to go into places that are small. They feel safer.

Make sure to put her bed in her crate. She needs to be comfortable (although, she is probably at the stage of chewing). Put some good liver treats along with her toys in her crate.

Stuff a kong full of raw meat and freeze it. Then, tie it into the back of her crate. That should help her get used to her own crate.

You might try covering her crate, as well, so it feels like her own safe cave.
