Dewclaws - Single and Double

I got three pups from a breeder and 2 of the pups have double dew claws in the back but the 1 only has single dewclaw in the back how is this possible if they are all from the same litter?

Have you talked to the breeder?If you have purebreds–registered with a recognized kennel club–they will only have double dews although it's been heard, although rarely, a third dew can appear.

If they aren't registered, single dews will mean another breed is in the mix even though your two others have doubles.
