Exercise

I run with my Great Pyrenees. She is a two year old female. How much is too much and/or too far for this large breed of dog?

covered this with my vet
by: Ed A from NJ

I just spoke with my vet about this. While they are very powerful and can both wander or fight they are not runners. I would not think they make great jogging mates. They are very heavy boned and shin splits are no fun. I would run it past your vet. Good luck.
