Fish - Do they store fish?

Do Great Pyernees store fish? Because I saw my great Pyrenees eating a catfish in winter and our pond is frozen now so she could not get in the pond right now.

Now, this may sound far fetched but we have seen our Pyr engage in this behaviour. Pyrs can and they will rear up and punch down hard with their 2 front feet onto ice crust on the snow, to hunt for wild morsels they can hear moving about under there.
Coyotes, fox, timber wolves, lynx, polar bears will engage in this behaviour when hunting for a meal in winter.
Our cat gifted our Pyr with mouse morsels when he was a pup. They are all very well fed pets and live a pretty posh life in a country house. That cat trained 3 dogs in this behaviour, and it became a team sport. And, they all munched on their booty with delight. Totally gross.
Your Pyr is strong enough to break thru the ice in your pond and catch a fish, if he has a mind to. My dogs have never stored mice, but it is conceivable they would do it if they thought they needed to. It wouldn't surprise me if yours could catch fish and store it for dinner later, either! : )
