Full Breed or mixed?

Does the double dew claws definitely mean it's a full breed Great Pyrenees? My dog seems a little small to be full breed Pyr

Double dews
by: Anonymous

Maremmas and Akbash will have double dews.
You'll have seen the pup's parents. Were they small? Perhaps you got a runt of the litter. Talk to the breeder.

I have a mixed
by: Anonymous

My half pit half Pyrenees just had pups with a full blooded pit. Our "runt" has the double dews. So, apparently not a full blood trait.

Backyard breeding
by: Anon

Please have your dog spayed. There are enough unwanted dogs out there. This is very irresponsible breeding. If you're doing it for money, that's the wrong reason. Leave reposnisible breeding to the CKC. Please promote adopting rescues so they aren't put down because shelters are full.
