Great Pyrenees Rescue Luna
Luna has found her forever home. THis was her story...
3 year old female, spayed and vaccinated
Luna was dropped off at a local pound by her previous owner. She had such bad skin condition and had no fur on half of her body. It appears she has food allergies, and we suspect chicken and some grains. After only a few months on fish kibble with no grains, her skin was not irritated and her fur has fully grown back.
Because of her special condition, food intake must be watched carefully, as it took only 1 week of commercial treats for symptoms to return (red rashes and intense scratching), but that doesn’t mean she cannot have any. She has been very happy with natural treats such as fruits, vegetables and even little pieces of pita bread.
Luna is a beautiful and very affectionate girl, with calm temperament and good manners. She is house trained, quiet and not at all excitable. She is good with kids, and other dogs, but no cats or any small critters, as she can get very obsessed with chasing them. She responds well to her name when called, is easy to walk on leash and is a fast learner. She learned in a couple of tried to sit, lie down and give her paws.
Do you want to receive the love that this amazing girl has to offer you?

Luna

I have had a Great Pyrenees for the last 34 yrs. Not a “working” dog except in my home. Trust them with my life and I too, would do anything for them.
