I am 6ft 3in tall.
When our 3yr old Pyr stands up he is almost as tall as me! He is a big and handsome boy.
We did not teach him this skill and we do not encourage it. Rather, when he needs to see better and there is something in the way, he stands up. It is his own decision. He is very nosy and watches us and it does seem as if he is my copy-cat, as I will be looking at something in the distance too. He is also very good at climbing. : )
