Hypothyroidism

by Martin
(Mississauga, ON)

Hello - our dog started sitting and lying down frequently during walks. She is panting heavily when she does this. Consequently our walks are much shorter. We took her to the vet who examined her and ran blood tests. The blood test result indicated the thyroid condition. We are now giving her Thyroid tab 0.8 mg twice a day and the vet will see her again after eight weeks. Wondering if any other GP owners have had similar experiences and if so, what did you do to treat your dog? Thank you
