Is my dog a great pyrenees?

My dog seems to have shorter hair then the pictures I've seen, not sure if its just because he is young, or what. He has double back claws, but i was wondering if he was a mix? Pictures below. ^^

I never judge a dog by one picture and don't like to be the bearer of bad news. I can tell you Pyrenees has the coat from when he was a bitty baby. There are a breed or two that would fit the look of your dog more closely even with the dew claws. I think Akbash or Maramor but there are many short haired LSGD that fit the bill quite well. You just need to dig in and start you research. It is fun and when you get to the bottom of your dog's past you will love him even more for the trip he took to become him.

I think so!

My pup is half Great Pyrenees and half blue heeler and his snout looks a lot like that and also has double dew claws! I think you can tell quite a bit from the coat, and their personality haha. If he's got the two distinct coats and is white with the little patches of brown, I think that's a big indicator because that seems pretty unique to pyrs. Also the personality for sure, they're really smart and I find they learn commands really well. But, my guy only does them about half the time if I don't have a treat for him haha.
