Pretty Simple
by: Ed A from NJ

In two words, common sense. I don't know if mine can be considered old my little boy is only 8 and my little girl is only 12 but both are in great shape. So I would say good food in the correct amount to keep them trim and fit. Access to fresh water, a good exercise regiment and bi-annual trips to the vet for check ups plus trips as need when they show signs of illness. I also know house dogs live longer, keep them out of hot weather don't make them face frigid temps when you can avoid it and give them all the love you can. Or like I said common sense.
