We send our heartfelt condolences to Michelle and Craig. They took her in and gave Meadow the best life she could have in her almost year with them.
Here is what they shared with us:
I just wanted to let you know that we had to put Meadow to sleep this morning. I was able to speak with Carol while we were at the vet and both she and the vet who saw her agreed that it was the kindest, most humane, option.
Our hearts are broken and our home feels empty without her. We were so lucky to have her with us for almost a year. She was a loving and gentle soul and we will never forget her. Thank you and the rescue for giving us the chance to care for miss Meadow. It was an honour to have known her.

Meadow is an 8-year old Limberlost girl with palliative needs.
Michelle stepped up to give her some special care for her remaining time.
From Michelle: She is doing wonderfully here and we already have a weeks worth of special food made up for her. She gets along just fine with Ranger... they kind of do their own thing but get along just fine. We are so lucky to have the opportunity to provide her a good and peaceful home for her remaining days.
