Milo part great pyr part St. Bernard and smidge white lab . Arge 2 years two months. We got him when he was 18 months . We are his third family

When I let a guest in the house Milo does not growl or aggress he is alert posture. Until I put my hand on the guest arm and say Milo hokay. Then Milo acts as if the person is is long lost friend whom he likes.

I'm guessing he was taught this at some point in his life. Isn't that interesting . Is this a pyr thing too

I didn't teach this to him but I discovered it. And it's handy

Thnx so much oh my goodness isn't it sweet what the pyrs do I love it so much . He only does this at home not when out of the house.

Oh wait I forgot at dog park a man had an aggressive pit bull and the man had been drinking . He was not controlling his dog.

So Milo slowly herded all the humans into a group. Then he herded all the other dogs into the group . All except the pit bull and owner.

Then Milo circled the group over and over . While making a low hum hum sound. Milo approached the pit bull and stood with his fur raised along his spine. Until the pit bull rolled over and showed his belly. Then Milo licked the pit bulls ears. .

Then the pit bull got up . And Milo did the I am the sniffer and you are the snifflee so I'm the boss I OF you thing.

Then Milo did the ear sniff to all the other dogs. They left the group and returned to playing.

Milo went to each person and asked them to pet Milos head which they did then they dispersed the tight group . He and the people all ignored the drunk man. Even the pit bull ignored his owner. All was calm and well in the dog park.

This all took only a few minutes. I suppose this is a pyr thing , is it , oh wow.
