My beautiful boy Titan

About 13 years ago I had a box named Baxter. Baxter was an amazing guy, unfortunately we lost him at age nine. I was crushed. Baxter had been my second Boxer and I just felt like I needed a change of breed. I have always loved large breed dog, so after about 6 months I began my search. I was looking at the Newfoundland, Bernese Mountain Dog and the Great Pyrenees. So after much research, I was confident I wanted the Pyrenees. Found a breeder that was known to be good and made a deal. Titan came home 3 days later at the age of 14 weeks. He was the last to go because they planned on keeping him. But household changes would allow a third dog. So he became mine. He was a stunning young boy, very intelligent and extremely stubborn. But after a short time he came to understand I was the Alfa and life was a bit less of a power struggle. Titan was an absolute gentle giant. He was very tall and long and topped in at 150. He loved going to the park, chewing on bones and giving full mouth kisses. He was my man for 13 years. He gave me more love than any human had ever given and I was immensely grateful. We lost him this year in May. I feel very blessed he was in my life and I thanked him consistently for his love. Now when Titan was 6, that same breeder reached out and had another litter of puppies.. I was a goner. So fort a New Years gift to myself, I got Zeus. Zeus is now 6. But he’s another story... I will post as well.

Thank you for taking the time to read Titans story.
