Poop - Concern?

Our 13 year old female recently started to poop while she is walking dropping one poop each couple of feet while walking, where she is. During this time, the poop is always hard.

She is 13, and like any senior breed, she may be losing control of her bowels. As for the hardness, she is probably constipated.

If you feed raw, add pumpkin to her diet (a couple of tablespoons) or even if you feed kibble. Kibble is very hard on the system.

You should take her to your vet for a senior's exam.
