Pups
by: Donna

On their first heat at about 6 months old. This is way too early for a dog to have pups.

It's important to have dogs spayed/neutered. National Pyr Rescue and other rescues are full of unwanted dogs because dogs were not spayed and neutered.

It's important to leave breeding to those who are dedicated to improving the breed and doing their best to ensure healthy dogs and that they have sound temperaments. As well as the crucial socialization and handling by many many different people in the first 8 weeks of puppyhood by the breeder followed by the pup's new people.

Without that, chances are you'll have a poorly adjusted dogs and in some cases aggression sets in as they mature.

Ethical and reputable breeders do not breed for profit.
