Pyrenees being the only pet

Hello...we have a 5yr.old female Pyr. that was raised with two older Goldens. One Golden passed last year and the other was just diagnosed with cancer and given about 3 months to live (our hearts are broken!!!). Our Pyr used to guard goats and chickens but they have left us also. She will be our only pet and we are worried about her emotional wellbeing. She LOVES her Golden brother!! We don't really want to get any other pet right now and don't know how she will do being alone. We spend a great deal of time with her but not 24/7. We adore her !!!!! How do Pyrenees do alone?
She likes puppies but new adult dogs, not so much...so doggie daycare won't be an option. Thank you!!!!

She used to be with two other dogs so she can be introduced to new dogs in the home but introductions must be done properly and slowly.

However, you don't want another dog and that's fine. Make sure you walk her and keep her exposed to other dogs. Keep her life interesting with hikes, car rides and anything else you do as a family, as it sounds like you already do.

She should be fine.
