Red Eyes

We have a 9 month old Border Pyrenees. She is a lovely dog but often her eyes are red, only for a few hours or days and then it seems to go away. Is this common to the breed?

While you haven't given much information about when and where it is possible that you are talking about an allergic reaction. You may want to focus on her surroundings when her eyes turn red (I am assuming we are talking the whites of her eyes getting blood shoot). See if you can't figure out what is in her area when these attacks happen. Also when it happens you may want to try a little benedryl on her. Good luck with your little girl.
