RIP Shadow

by Colin
(Hamilton, ON)

Hi everyone,

It's with a sad heart I'm writing to let you know that Shadow has passed on and has joined Sandra in the afterlife. Old age caught up with him and he passed peacefully on Monday morning following some big steaks and lots of love from his family.

He spent his last year with free roam of our backyard and made great strides in confidence up until the end. I can say he ended his life as a happy, confident dog.

There is a big, empty, spot in our living room. I'm certain we'll never have a dog like Shadow in our lives again. He was truly one of a kind and the love that Sandra, her entire community, and everyone he met gave made a big impact.

We've made a donation to the club in his honour, and we look forward to engaging again in a few years when our family is ready for our next great Pyr adventure.

Hi Colin,

We are so sorry to hear of Shadow's passing. But, we are so glad he was able to live out his life with you upon Sandra's passing. You obviously worked hard with him to gain his confidence.

Dogs are like snowflakes. No two are alike and that is so true.

We send our heartfelt condolences, and hope you jump on board once you're ready.

Thank you so much for the donation.

Kind regards,

The GPCSO Team
