They'll both roam as far since they both do the same job. Since life isn't as it was years ago, they now need to be contained within at least 6 foot securely fenced large yard.

If they are working dogs, they still need to be contained with secure fencing.

No tie outs or invisible fencing.

They need to be spayed/neutered since that will only promote wandering and unwanted pups. In fact, dogs can get at each other through unsecure fencing just to mate
