My GP is 1 year old and where ever I go people are saying that she looks small, her weight is 30 kg but her height (head) is about my my hip(I am 163cm) , she was treated with lot of differences medicine for Pneumonia when she was around 4-5 months old ; does she needs more calcium & exercise?

When she sees little kid (age 4-6 year old) or someone shows fear of her . she tend to bark at them, is this normal?

It depends on the breeder's dogs. What size were they? Even if she is small, it shouldn't matter. I'm sure you still love her, anyways.

If she is from a a reputable breeder, she will have been well-socialized and handled almost from birth for her first eight weeks of life by many many different people. She should be good with everyone unless she has a genetic issue.

The time that follows is up to you to continue socialization and handling by many different people and other dogs. Without all this handling and socialization, the dog will usually show fear.

It's hard to say why she is barking at them. Does she want to see them? Does she looks for pats? What does her body language tell you?

As for barking at people who show fear, this is a fallacy. If she never had the proper socialization, hence not from a reputable breeder, she will have fear.

Here is some excellent information on fear in dogs by Dr. Sophia Yin, world renowned vet behaviourist and how to work with it.

Lots of time

Don't be discouraged she is still young. Yes some meds can affect growth but great Pyrenees grow for 18 to 24 months. My boy was only 90 pounds at one year old and ended up being a whopping 165 pounds and 34 inch's at the shoulder. I notice on all my Pyrenees they tend to get tall first the widen up later.
As to the barking I would be looking at the rest of the dogs body language to understand what he is telling you. His ears and tail will tell a lot of what he is feeling. Until you know be careful with her.

Also, make sure to take her to the vet for a check up if you are concerned.

Also, make sure to have her spayed. 6 months is a good age for this so before her first heat.
