Vet

No one can diagnose your dog online. Take your dog the vet. Preferably a wholistic vet.

No diagnosing here, just sharing

I just posted in another string that when we took our GP puppy to a chiropractor/vet (holistic) for another issue I asked about why the whites of her eyes are so red. She suggested it may be due to an incorrect protein source. In Eastern medicine there are hot and cold animals and hot and cold proteins. Our GP is a hot animal and therefore needs a cool protein source. We had been feeding her chicken. When we switched to duck the redness went away. She is now eating neutral (turkey and beef) and still clear and white.

This is just our experience. She also slept A LOT and still does at 14 months. But it may be wise to check with a holistic vet to be sure nothing else is going on.

Here is the website I used to learn about hot/cold protein sources...
