You need to get your pup into the vet right away. There should not be several swelling of the gums.

There is something else going on.

Swollen gums puppy
by: Anonymous

We have taken him they dont know whats going on. First they thought he ate Sago palm, then wasp stings, not sure what... then they say his Kidneys are not working properly but that shouldn't cause the swollen gums. The color came back to his gums and they are looking alot better but not normal yet. Ive just been trying to read everything I can about the breed... he does have some Akbash in him too.

Gums, Kidneys
by: Donna

It's not necessarily a breed-specific issue. This can happen to any dog, I suspect.

I'd worry about his kidneys not functioning properly, too.

Get him to another vet who can help you with his gums and kidneys until you find one who can.
