I posted Yuki's story earlier and I thought I would follow up with another story, since she is truly an amazing dog. Miss Katie Fluff the Corgi died this past June, and poor Yuki has been missing her. Yuki turned 1 in September, and she's fully into her teenager stage. She's also tall, strong and 100 lbs. Everyone who sees her comments how beautiful she is, and she is patient and sweet no matter how many people want to pet and/or love on her.
She's also the world's most underrated thief. Surely there is a use somewhere for a dog so stealthy, so silent and careful she can lick a pot full of taco meat (2 lbs worth!) clean with nary a sound. The other week, she somehow got the pizza out of a closed box with other boxes on top of it, without disturbing the boxes on top OR making any noise to indicate what she'd done...my husband opened the box and the pizza was just gone.
It is mind-boggling to me that she can be so darn sneaky, and so quiet despite being such a big dog. Her paws are the size of my hands! She is an amazing dog and I am so lucky to have her, petty larceny and all. :)

I just adopted my Great Pyrenees, Leo, a few days ago. He was kept intact by his last owners and used as a stud. He will be 2 years old in May this year.

I have had a Great Pyrenees for the last 34 yrs. Not a “working” dog except in my home. Trust them with my life and I too, would do anything for them.
