Throwing up after eating

by Terry

Is it "normal" for a 9 month old, 90lb Pyr to vomit sometimes after eating? I believe he also may have a sensitive stomach. Normal or is a vet visit needed?

Vomiting

It depends. Do you walk your dog right after he eats? Do not do this. Give him an hour or so digesting time.

He may be eating too fast.

What is his diet? Perhaps bad food? I always recommend raw. The vet may have you put him on their expensive kibble but it's not good. Dogs are not meant to have rice, corn or any grains.

Here is some good information on vomiting dogs. Copy and paste the link into the url:

A vet visit is never bad but he may be wolfing his food they make bowls with little built in shape so theY have to eat around them and slow the eating process. Also do avoid bloat by limiting exercise right after eating and limit water which could also could weigh down that tummy and cause contortion.
