Tundra will be missed by all of us

by Yvonne
(Brantford, Ontario, Canada)

We adopted Tundra from the club in 2014 and our lives were changed forever. Tundra enriched every aspect of our life. She was gentle, loyal, protective and affectionate. I will never forget the day we met. From the minute she looked up at me with her friendly eyes, I knew she was coming home with me. We will all miss you my sweet girl but I will miss you more than I can put into words.

Thank you...

Thank you so much for sharing this...

Tunny was such a warm, gentle soul with our girls. They would lie on her, and she on them, curled together in the simplest, sweetest way. She was deeply affectionate with our family, and in her own way, wonderfully protective.

Over the years, I’ve found myself searching for her from time to time, hoping for a glimpse or an update—always recognizing that one-of-a-kind face and those deep, soulful brown eyes. Seeing her still gets me, even now.

Thank you for finding her. And thank you for giving her such a beautiful life. It means more than I can say to know she was loved so well.

XO

I’m a child of the family that had adopted Tundra as a puppy in 2012. I remember the day that my parents decided it was best to find her a new home, so her needs could be properly met. I was absolutely heartbroken but knew it was the right choice for all of us.

Yvonne, thank you for seeing her as the wonderful girl that she was and for caring so deeply about her. She was such a sweetheart and I have missed her so much. I can tell that you adored her (much like I did) and I’m so glad that she went to a loving home. Thank you for everything that you did for her, it means the world to me that she lived such a long and happy life.

Wishing you and your family the best<3

She was such a beautiful girl. It will be a tough go for awhile. Take care of yourselves. She will always be in your hearts, and she was so lucky to have you.
