Water - Drinking too much?

by Kelly Adair

My Great Pyrenees drinks excessively. Is this normal? He is mainly indoors where it is cool and he is not high energy.

How much does he drink in a day?

If you feel it is excessive, do take him to your vet for a check up. This would be concerning if he is drinking more than normal.

Excessive drinking
by: Dog Mom

Hello,
Our dog was drinking ridiculous amounts of water and peeing constantly with lots of accidents and the vets ran all kinds of tests. Turned out to be Diabetes insipidus. It is treatable with pills. Our dog is much happier now. Definitely take the dog to the vet.
