why would a great pyreness be fine and 2 days later start pooping blood and the die second day

why would my great pyreness be fine and then 2 days ago started pooping blood and then died today was very weak and not real responsive he was only 5 yrs old .

That would be a question for your vet. There would have been any number of reasons.

As soon as he started bleeding, he should have gone to the vet. That indicates a serious issue.

I'm sorry he died.

Check the food

Check the dog food and see if it has been recalled. There were incidents like this 7 years ago. If you still have the food, check it out to see if it has warning issued about it. I am so sorry.
Blue buffalo issued some warning about their canned food. I receive alerts from time to time.
