4 1/2 years ago my husband came home and told me "OMG I have just seen the biggest dog ever and he's so regal and gentle. He's a Great Pyrenees Mountain Dog."
Well he was talking about Wizard( I never got to meet Wizard in person)
Don Young gave my hubby his phone number and told him about GPCSO. I tacked it up on the wall of the office. We were still mourning the loss of Brazen our Irish Setter to Cancer so I did a lot of research on the internet on Pyr's , read a LOT here on GPCSO and then I listened to my heart.
The house was empty , silent, above all Lonely.
I called Sandra and we talked about getting a rescue , our Brazen was a rescue at 9 months old so rescue's weren't new to me. With Sandra's Help and guidance Misti came into our lives.
Marianne. Carol and Donna were all instrumental in finding the Pyrfect Ptr for us.. and we have her.
Sandra groomed Misti a lot , we had the privilege to know Sandra for a few years.
Sandra had a huge heart when it came to Great Pyr's and people and community and little league sports clubs / teams . etc etc .
She was a very independent lady and yes a stickler for details. This world was a better place because of Sandra, well Lakeview was and many in Lakeview miss her.
WE do.

My Great Pyrenees woke up this morning vomiting. But it’s only clear but I can tell she doesn’t feel good. She normally is happy and playing in the morning.
