I, too, found tears streaming down my face as I read the first-person accounts of France's heroic defence of her flock.
Frank's no-nonsense, no holds barred, take charge actions prevented tragedy and loss, and certainly educated one and all (including that bear!) that a Great Pyranees is not dog with which to tangle.
Our Pyr/Anatolian/Komondor cross, Jonathan Snow, is still a young pup, but he is learning to defend his flock of sheep and goats. I pray God that he will never have to go against a force as formidable as a Bruin, but know in my heart that he has what it takes to ensure their safety against all foes.
Well done, Frank. Well done, indeed! You are an inspiration to Guardian Dogs everywhere!
