Courtesy Post - Maya

*Adopted*
Location: Burlington, Ontario

DOB: Jan 3, 2021 (3 years and 5 months)

Gender: Female, 75lbs

House-trained

Good in car

Walks well on leash

Great with people and children of all ages.

No resource guarding
.
Reactive to some dogs.

Seems to respond well to other working dogs.

Some separation anxiety. Crate trained – used when left alone in house.

Maya is a sweet, loving, smart white fluffy who is looking for a new home.

Maya enjoys spending time outdoors and going for walks. She diligently watches over her property, and barks like a true big white when she perceives a threat.

Maya will be ideally suited to a rural environment where she can be outside and watch over her “flock”.

Maya is very social and loves to meet new people. She will wag her tail (and body!) but will not jump up.

She is gentle and affectionate with children.

Maya has been taught basic commands such as sit, down, and stay.

It is due to health issues that her current caregiver is no longer able to manage her care.

We recommend a fresh food diet, raw feeding, to maintain a strong and vital immune system.

We recommend signing up for Recallers, an online teaching program for the best chance at success with Maya.

There is a $400 adoption fee.

If you are interested in Maya, please complete an adoption application.

We will forward her application to her owner.
