Handsome Oso is looking for a new family due to allergies in the family. They are devastated to have to let him go.
DoB: April 28th, 2023
Location: New Market, Ontario
Required: Single detached home that has a large yard with a minimum of 5-foot fencing. No plastic grass please. Pyrs love to dig in the dirt to stay cool in the summer. He may even do well on a hobby farm with some coaching.
Yes, all dogs we post are neutered/spayed.
He's looking to be a part of your family so he can join in on the hikes, daily walks and any other activity in which he can join.
He is good with people, but children over 12 due to his size. He is goods with other dogs, but if they get too excited, he likes to bark at them to slow things down.
He’ll chase cats, but this too can be worked on. He won’t harm them. Dog-savvy cats work well.
He is a chewer so loves his bones.
He walks well on leash and will come when called. He has no food protection behaviour, is not destructive in the house and does not have separation anxiety.
He gets excited when friends come into the house, but settles down.
He is a very loving and playful dog.
As a Pyr, he barks more than most breeds even at the sound of a butterfly two miles away. That’s what Pyrs do at anything they deem a predator. Make sure to do your research on this breed. We have much information on our website.
