Mayne the big sweetie Pyr mix is looking for a new family. Sadly, his family had to move due to health issues, and they could not take him with them.
He is described as a big friendly dog who loves everyone including their seven grandchildren. He also lived happily with two other family dogs and a cat. He has been well-fed as is evident by his figure, but with regular exercise he'll get back on track.
He has never been leash walked as he was always off leash in the country. There was never an issue. He’ll need a to learn how to walk on a leash if he’s to become a city dog. Here is a great podcast on how to work with your dog.
He also lived with a cat.
He is scared of thunderstorms, but the Trust Technique and crate training will help him with that.
We recommend the online teaching program Recallers or Home School the Dog to gain an incredible connection with your dog to set him up for success.
