Much Thanks

I am so grateful after reading your story to know that we have a Great Pyrenees/St. Bernard mix in our home. It explains so much about the behaviors that she displays. Such as standing at the back fence of our yard and barking at all the squirrels and raccoon she sees in the trees.

I dont know when ur comment was posted, sorry. I hope u end up seeing this. U stated u have a Pyr/Bernard mix & I think the dog we found in our yard may be as well, with some Aussie thrown in. I did not think of Pyr before I read this but she behaves so much like what is described here! She doesnt listen to a thing I say when outside but inside she is the model of a well trained dog. Very confusing for me til I found this site accidentally. She has to observe new people at the house without them interacting with her in order to be at ease more quickly. She only barks at people & cars that cross her perceived borders, not every little thing, we know when she barks that someone has arrived.
Could u please post a pic of your dog for comparison to our beloved Sissy or contact us directly & I can send a pic as well lasnogdog@gmail.com (I dont konw how smart that was but Im dying to konw) Thanx
