My Great Pyr is always Dominent

My Pyr's name is Traveler named after USC's big white horse Traveler. She is almost 2 years old and loves to sleep outdoors when it is really cold. She is not too sociable with other dogs, especially small dogs.
She has stood up to two big German Shepards at one time and refuses to back down. She is gentle around people and kids but must give the Pyr review on anybody who enters the house or yard. She is always sniffing the air and barking if she smells or hears anyone on the other side of the brick walls out back. No one can get in unannounced by her. It his her yard and house and she protects it at all times. She also likes to play with balls thrown around the yard and catch bisquets in her mouth.
