My husband is a trucker and we were looking at a Shepard cross as I grew up with one on our farm. I am home alone often with our 2 year old son and recently moved to the country but after reading this and doing much research on the breed, I am definitely getting a Pyrenees not only for the guardianship but also the companionship. I cannot believe the natural ability of this breed as a guardian. Hats off to Frankie for doing what god created her to do.
